Heritage Education Programs of Boca Raton Historical Society

The Boca Raton Historical Society offers complimentary educational programs and resources to public and private schools as well as home schoolers. History adventures that link the past and present include the interactive Ticket To Ride program, at the Boca Express Train Museum. Based on the Boca Raton Historical Society’s Florida East Coast Railway Station and its two 1947 streamline rail cars, all listed on the National Register of Historic Place, the program offers students the opportunity to experience firsthand the excitement of these landmarks and their significance via on-site visits and related classroom materials. The Boca Raton Historical Society’s wide range of resources help to augment the Florida history curriculum taught in local schools and includes a Historical Video of Boca Raton that shows how Boca Raton grew into the thriving city it is today.
